24/7  The Ends of Sleep …

You are cordially invited for a series of reading sessions, exploring how our constant productivity, the tempo and format of our lives impress on our bodies, leaving only sleep as a partial respite.

Jonathan Crary’s book ‘Late Capitalism and the Ends of Sleep’ functions as our springboard to discuss the environment of Hoog Catharijne in which we will dwell, wander and be hauled over while reading. With special guests: Read-iners, Richard John Jones and many more.

School of Temporalities is initiated by Annette Krauss in the framework of Call of the Mall. Participation is free. Conversation and readings will be in English and Dutch.
